Recovery Riders ("we", "us", "the app") helps motocross riders recovering from an injury to track their recovery, share their story and find fellow riders. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have.
• Account data: your name, email address and (encrypted) password, or your Google account if you sign in with Google.
• Profile data: country, region, discipline, injury type and recovery progress that you enter yourself.
• Location data: your approximate location (only if you grant permission) to show recovery stories within ±25 km of you.
• Content: photos, journal notes, timeline updates, messages and comments that you post.
• Technical data: basic log data needed to operate the service.
• To display your account and profile and provide the core features of the app.
• To show recovery stories in your region (±25 km location filter).
• To send you notifications about updates from riders you follow.
• To show advertising (via Google AdMob). Where required, we ask for your consent before using advertising identifiers.
We never sell your data. We only share what is strictly necessary with:
• Google — for signing in with Google (if you use it) and for serving ads via Google AdMob.
• Our hosting provider — for storing and running the app.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and associated content are permanently deleted (see section 6). Web-based deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data. You can exercise these rights inside the app or via the contact details below.
In the app: go to Profile → Settings → "Delete account". This immediately and permanently deletes your account, posts, journal, timeline and messages.
The app is not intended for children under 16 years of age.
